Wolverines open with win
ERIE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team opened the 2009 spring season Friday evening with a 9-0 victory over host Penn State Behrend at the Westwood Club. It is Grove City's third straight season-opening victory.
Grove City (1-0) dropped just one set in the six singles matches and also surrendered a mere six games in sweeping the doubles matches.
The Wolverines will visit Saint Vincent next Wednesday afternoon in a matchup of Presidents' Athletic Conference members.
