Wolverines blank Bearcats
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team opened the home portion of the 2010 spring schedule Thursday afternoon with a 9-0 victory over visiting Saint Vincent in a clash of Presidents' Athletic Conference members at the Grove City College Courts.
Grove City (3-1) surrendered just eight total games in sweeping the three doubles matches. The Wolverines then won all six singles matches.
Thursday's match does not count in the conference standings due to Saint Vincent's provisional status in NCAA Division III. Grove City returns to action Tuesday, March 23 as the Wolverines host Waynesburg at 3:30 p.m. in PAC action.
