Grove City tops W&J

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team opened Presidents' Athletic Conference play Friday afternoon with a 9-0 victory over host Washington & Jefferson at the Swanson Tennis Courts. Grove City improved to 4-1 overall with the win.

The Wolverines swept the three doubles matches and didn't lose a set in five of six singles bouts.

Grove City will play a pair of conference matches at Bethany Saturday afternoon. The Wolverines will face Thomas More at 1 p.m. before meeting host Bethany at 3 p.m. in the nightcap.
