Grove City 9, Waynesburg 0

March 24, 1999--Grove City netted its second shutout in as many matches, blanking host Waynesburg 9-0.

Grove City won the first four singles matches without surrendering a single game.   Winning 6-0, 6-0 at #1 was Dan Barber (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton), at #2 John Aderholt (Wheeling, WV/Wheeling Park), at #3 Keith Petrie (Frederick, MD/Thomas Johnson) and at #4 Nicholas Zaph (Pittsburgh, PA/Thomas Jefferson).  Jered Freed (Wadsworth, OH/Tallmadge) won #5 (6-0, 6-3) and Chris Spiker (Grove City, PA/Grove City) claimed #6 (6-0, 6-1).

In doubles, Barber and Aderholt took #1 (8-0), Petrie and Zaph took #2 (8-2) and Freed and Spiker won #3 (8-0).

The Wolverines improved to 2-0 on the season.
