Wolverines compete at Indiana

INDIANA, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's track and field team made its final preparations for next weekend's Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships by competing in Indiana (Pa.) University's unscored Ed Fry Invitational Saturday.

Sophomore Arleigh McRae (East Brookfield, Mass./Whitinsville Christian) helped lead the Grove City effort by winning the 5000 meters in 15 minutes, 27.86 seconds. Sophomore Alec Schultz (Wayzata, Minn./Orono) placed fourth in that event with a time of 15:48.37.

Grove City's 400-meter relay team of sophomore Mun Hwan Cho (Seoul, Korea/Houghton Academy), sophomore Andrew Ledbetter (Fairfax, Va./Oakton), junior Patrik Miller (Berlin, Ohio/Berlin Hiland) and sophomore John Green (Ligonier, Pa./Ligonier Valley) took third in a time of 43.97 seconds.

Junior Andrew Munro (Mountville, Pa./Hempfield) led Grove City in the field events with a sixth-place finish in the high jump. Munro cleared 5 feet, 7 inches.

Grove City will compete in the conference championships Friday and Saturday in Beaver Falls, Pa.
