Grove City men place third at Carnegie Mellon
PITTSBURGH -- The Grove City College men's cross country team placed third at the 11-team Carnegie Mellon Invitational Saturday afternoon at Schenley Park. The Wolverines finished with 121 team points, behind Allegheny (28) and CMU (35).
Steve Brown finished 15th in a time of 27:42 while Nick Gingerich (Burton, Ohio/Berkshire) took 30th in 28:23. Brad Wray (McClure, Pa./Indian Valley) finished 33rd in 28:27. Teammates Dan Adams (Derwood, Md./Col Zaduk Magruder) and Jack Anderson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) were 38th and 43rd, respectively. Adams completed the course in 28:33 while Anderson crossed 19 seconds later.
