Wolverines compete in Lehigh Paul Short Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's cross country team competed in the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational Friday afternoon. The Wolverine runners competed in the unscored Open division.

Sophomore Daniel Spaulding (Rochester, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) led Grove City with a 66th-place finish. He completed the course in 26 minutes, 25 seconds. Sophomore Nathan Johnson (Eugene, Ore./Sheldon) placed 183rd in 27:20 while sophomore Brett Kelly (Abingdon, Md./Bel Air) finished 210th (27:32). Junior Joey Cortez (Ellwood City, Pa./Ellwood City) finished 216th with a time of 27:37.

Grove City will compete in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Oct. 14.
