Wolverines 20th at Oberlin

OBERLIN, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's cross country team placed 20th overall out of 31 teams at Oberlin College's Inter-Regional Rumble Saturday afternoon. The Wolverines accumulated 557 team points on the day. Allegheny won the team crown with 66 points, followed by Elizabethtown with 130 points.

Senior Garrett Cichowitz (Colorado Springs, Colo./Palmer) finished 24th overall with a time of 25 minutes, 40.8 seconds.

Freshman Arleigh McRae (East Brookfield, Mass./Whitinsville Christian) earned 122nd place in 27:08.8, two spots ahead of classmate Mark Talbott (Tallmadge, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian). Talbott posted a time of 27:09.4

Freshman Alec Schultz (Wayzata, Minn./Orono) took 134th (27:15.6) and sophomore Tim Coyle (Langhorne, Pa./Holy Ghost Prep) captured 153rd in 27:36.6.

Sophomore Wesley Coopersmith (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) finished 161st (27:47.1) and classmate Francis Ridge (Derby, N.Y./Lake Shore) took 167th in 27:50.0

St. Thomas' Ben Satherne won the individual race in 24:45.0.

Grove City returns to action October 30 for the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships at Waynesburg University.
