Christiansen competes at NCAA Championships
WINNECONNE, Wis. -- Grove City College junior men's cross country standout Dan Christiansen (Frederick, Md./Frederick) placed 115th at the NCAA Division III Championships, posting a time of 25 minutes, 36 seconds for eight kilometers at Lake Breeze Golf Club.
Christiansen, who placed fifth and earned All-Region at last week's Mideast Championships, made his first appearance at the NCAA Championships.
Wisconsin-Platteville junior Ian LaMere won the race with a time of 23:35.4. Wisconsin-Eau Claire won the team title with 135 points. A total of 278 runners competed in the NCAA Championships.
