TAMMY FRITZ- Men's and Women's Diving Coach
Tammy Fritz is in her ninth season as the diving coach at Grove City College. Grove City's diving corps has become one of the region's elite under Fritz's guidance.

Last season, then-sophomore Carolyn Eckendorf qualified for the NCAA Region 4 Diving Championships after setting new school records on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.

In 2010, diver Kyle Grubbs provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships while setting a new school record in 1-meter diving. He earned the Presidents' Athletic Conference's Most Valuable Diver award for the 2009-10 season.

In 2007, Fritz helped junior Joe Riddell provisionally qualify for the NCAA Championships. Riddell and Grubbs placed 1-2 in the PAC Championships in 2007-08.

Prior to joining the Grove City staff, Fritz worked as the diving coach at Chartiers Valley High School in Bridgeville, Pa. for two seasons. Fritz also has 14 years of experience coaching gymnastics at various age levels.

Fritz is in her eighth year as an English teacher at Grove City High School. She also taught English for eight years at Chartiers Valley. Fritz graduated from Washington & Jefferson in 1992. In July 2002, she completed her master's degree in education from Duquesne University.

She lives in Slippery Rock with her husband, Dave, daughters Emily and Mary, and sons Hayden and Harrison.
