22: Men's Tennis Sweeps PAC Championships for 24th-straight conference
title
After dropping just one individual match during their entire Presidents'
Athletic Conference regular season schedule (62-1), it was little
surprise that the Grove City College men's tennis team was the clear
favorite to win the conference crown for the 24th-consecutive year.
However, on April 25-26, the team put together its best collective
performance of the season, dropping just one set in 27 matches to sweep
all nine flights at the conference championships for a perfect score of
54 points for the first time since the 2011 season.
Junior Peter Riley was named conference MVP for the second time in three
years after dropping just a single game en route to the conference title
at first singles. With the victory, the Wolverines earned the PAC's
automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championships for the
fourth-straight year.
