Thiel takes two at GCC First Game Box Second Game Box GROVE CITY, PA, April 18, 2000--Thiel rallied from a 4-2 deficit with a 10-run sixth to defeat the host Lady Wolverines, 12-4, and earn a sweep in the Presidents' Athletic Conference twin bill. The Lady Cats won the first game, 4-2. Nicole Hable (Shoreview, MN/Totino-Grace) had three of the Lady Wolverines' 12 hits in the doubleheader. Jessie Renaldo (Sigel, PA/Brookville) and Jamie Batchelor (Lebanon, PA/Ann-Cleona) each recorded triples and Laura LeVake (Faribault, MN/Faribault) added a double. Grove City fell to 6-10 overall, 3-5 in the PAC. Thiel improved to 12-14 overall and 5-3 in the league. |
