GROVE CITY, PA, April 5, 2001--The Lady Wolverine softball team posted its fourth consecutive doubleheader split Thursday, taking the first game from visiting Washington & Jefferson, 1-0, but losing the second, 4-3, in nine innings.

After a strike out, sophomore 1B Rachel Russell (Shelbina, MO/South Shelby) walked with two outs, advancing Renaldo to second. Freshman Jennifer Neumann (Brookfield, OH/Kennedy Christian) then sent a ground ball to the hole between first and second which was fielded cleanly but thrown away, allowing Renaldo to sprint home with the game-winning run.
