March 27, 1999--The Lady Wolverine softball team used 18 runs and 19 hits to sweep a doubleheader from visiting Pitt-Bradford and even its record at 3-3.

Laura LeVake (Faribault, MN/Faribault) struck out nine and allowed just three hits in the first game, which was called in the fifth inning due to the eight-run rule.   Leslie Eberlin (Harbor Creek, PA/Harbor Creek) had two hits and scored twice.

Stephanie Murphy (Munroe Falls, OH/Stow-Munroe Falls), who went 1-for-2 in the first game with three runs scored, crossed the plate three more times in the nightcap with three hits in four at-bats, including a double.  Lisa Colletti (Richboro, PA/Council Rock) got the win in relief of LeVake, who left the game in the second inning after injuring herself on a slide into third.
