GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Grove City College sophomore shortstop Kelsey Shirey (Macedonia, Ohio/Nordonia) recently earned All-Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III South Second Team honors through voting by the region's head softball coaches.

She hit a team-leading .441 while also recording team highs in runs scored (26), hits (45), runs batted in (18), total bases (71) and stolen bases (11). Shirey also led Grove City with a .696 slugging percentage and a .482 on-base average.

Shirey ranked second in the Presidents' Athletic Conference in slugging percentage and fourth in both batting average and on-base percentage.
