April 7, 1999--The defending Presidents' Athletic Conference champion Lady Wolverines rallied from a 5-2 deficit with a four-run seventh inning to salvage a split with host Bethany in the league opener for both schools.

A pair of Minnesotans keyed the 6-5 win as Nicole Hable (Shoreview, MN/Totino-Grace) collected two of Grove City's five hits and Laura LeVake (Faribault, MN/Faribault) posted the complete-game victory (3-2), allowing seven hits and striking out one.

Heather Oates (Delavan, IL/Delavan) went 2-for-3 in the 7-1 loss.

The Lady Wolverines moved to 4-4 overall, 1-1 in the PAC.  Bethany came away 12-9 overall, 1-1 in the PAC.
