April 10, 1999--The Lady Wolverines (6-4, 3-1 PAC) moved into sole possession of second place in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a two-game sweep over visiting Waynesburg (2-21, 0-2 PAC) Saturday afternoon.

Laura LeVake (Faribault, MN/Faribault) tossed a one-hitter in the 2-0 win, striking out seven and walking three over seven innings.  The Lady Jackets posted their lone hit off LeVake (4-3) in the opening frame when Brandy Gaggiani singled.

Nicole Hable (Shoreview, MN/Totino-Grace) went 2-for-3 and drove in Grove City's first run with a single in the first.  Leslie Eberlin (Harbor Creek, PA/Harbor Creek) led off the fifth with a triple and later scored on a single by Megan Wittenwyler (Des Moines, IA/Dowling).

Grove City exploded for 16 runs on 18 hits in the nightcap with Stephanie Murphy (Munroe Falls, OH/Stow-Munroe Falls), Heather Oates (Delavan, IL/Delavan) and Michelle Maegle (Pittsburgh, PA/Carrick) collecting three hits apiece.  Hable, Eberlin, Heather Johnson (Wadsworth, OH/Wadsworth) and Lisa Colletti (Richboro, PA/Council Rock) contributed two hits each. 

Colletti notched the win (2-1), scattering seven hits over six innings and striking out four.
