April 15, 1999--Laura LeVake (Faribault, MN/Faribault) scattered four hits and picked up her sixth win of the season as the Lady Wolverines ended front-running Thiel's 14-game wining streak with a 5-2 victory in Greenville.  The Lady Cats earned a split with a 3-0 win in the nightcap.

LeVake helped her cause with a two-run double in Grove City's four-run second inning.   Leslie Eberlin (Harbor Creek, PA/Harbor Creek) also plated a run in the second with a two-bagger.  Levake and Nicole Hable (Shoreview, MN/Totino-Grace) each had two hits in the win.

The Lady Wolverines mustered just three hits in the second game as LeVake suffered the loss (6-4), allowing four hits in seven complete.

Grove City left with an overall record of 9-5, 4-2 in the PAC, while Thiel moved to 19-4, 5-1 in the PAC.
