April 29, 1999--Grove City erupted with 10 runs in the last two innings, including seven in its final at-bat, to overcome a 6-0 deficit and take the first of two from host Penn State Behrend, 10-7.  The Lady Lions won the nightcap, 8-0, in six innings.

Megan Wittenwyler (Des Moines, IA/Dowling) collected three hits in the doubleheader, while Nicole Hable (Shoreview, MN/Totino-Grace) and Laura LeVake (Faribault, MN/Faribault) contributed two hits each.

LeVake posted the victory to improve to 9-7 on the season.

The Lady Wolverines' 8-0 loss in the second game dropped their overall record to 12-10.   They close the regular season Monday at Geneva.
