Grove City drops two at Baldwin-Wallace

BEREA, Ohio --The Grove City College women's volleyball team dropped two matches at the Baldwin-Walace Invitational Friday evening. Grove City lost to Kalamazoo 30-20, 30-23 and 30-21 in their first match of the day.

The Lady Wolverines (0-3) then fell to Baldwin-Wallace, 30-17, 30-15 and 30-19. Against Baldwin-Wallace, senior setter Cara Denniston (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) had 18 assists and three serving aces while Kate DiMarco (Slate Hill, N.Y./Minisink Valley) had 13 digs. Senior Katie Summers (Staunton, Va./Grace Christian) collected six kills. Senior Kirsten Pedersen (Santa Rosa, Calif./Montgomery) had 13 digs.

In the Kalamazoo match, Denniston had 25 assists while Summers and Lisa Bodi (Springville, N.Y./Springville Griffith Institute) had eight kills. DiMarco served three aces while Pedersen collected 17 digs.
