Hiram downs Grove City
HIRAM, Ohio -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 6-6 this season with a 30-18, 16-30, 30-25, 30-25 loss at Hiram in non-conference action Wednesday night at Price Gymnasium.
Sophomore Kelly Tinney (Ashtabula, Ohio/Sts. John and Paul) led Grove City with 14 kills while senior Kate DiMarco (Slate Hill, N.Y./Minisink Valley) added 12 kills and 19 digs. Sophomore setter Sarah Davison (Grove City, Pa./Penn Hills) recorded 33 assists while senior Melissa Lawton (High Point, N.C./Wesley Christian Academy) had 22 digs.
Grove City returns to action this weekend at the Ohio Wesleyan Tournament in Delaware, Ohio. Head coach Susan Roberts has 498 career wins.
