Waynesburg sweeps Grove City
WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 1-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a 30-17, 30-14, 30-21 loss at defending conference champion Waynesburg Tuesday night at the Rudy Marisa Field House.
Senior Kate DiMarco (Slate Hill, N.Y./Minisink Valley) and sophomores Kelly Tinney (Ashtabula, Ohio/Sts. John and Paul) and Carlie Roberts (Union City, Pa./Union City) each had five kills. Freshman setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) had 18 assists.
Sophomore Emily Rossol (Waterville, Ohio/Toledo Christian) had 18 digs while DiMarco added 10 digs. Tinney had three blocks.
Grove City (8-11 overall) hosts Bethany Friday night at 6:30 p.m. in PAC action.
