Wolverines sweep Bethany, move to 2-1 in PAC

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team improved to 2-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Friday night with a 30-21, 30-23, 30-19 sweep of Bethany in the Grove City College Arena.

Sophomore Kelly Tinney (Ashtabula, Ohio/Sts. John and Paul) racked up 13 kills while senior Kate DiMarco (Slate Hill, N.Y./Minisink Valley) added 10 kills and a team-best 14 digs. Freshman setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) had 38 assists while sophomore Emily Rossol (Waterville, Ohio/Toledo Christian) had 12 digs.

Senior Melissa Lawton (High Point, N.C./Wesley Christian) tallied 10 digs while sophomore Carlie Roberts (Union City, Pa./Union City) racked up five blocks. Grove City (9-11, 2-1) visits PAC rival Washington and Jefferson Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
