Presidents sweep Grove City
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 9-12 overall and 2-2 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Wednesday night with a 30-21, 30-26, 30-27 loss at Washington and Jefferson in the Henry Memorial Center.
Sophomore Kelly Tinney (Ashtabula, Ohio/Sts. John and Paul) led Grove City with eight kills and four blocks while senior Kate DiMarco (Slate Hill, N.Y./Minisink Valley) added seven kills. Freshman setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) had 27 assists while senior Rachel Peterson (Bartlett, Tenn./Bartlett) had 16 digs. Senior Melissa Lawton (High Point, N.C./Wesley Christian) added 14 digs.
Grove City hosts Westminster Friday night at 6:30 in PAC action.
