Wolverines blitz Thiel
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team snapped a two-match slide Tuesday night with a 30-28, 30-16, 30-20 victory over Thiel in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia.
Senior Kate DiMarco (Slate Hill, N.Y./Minisink Valley) led Grove City (10-13, 3-3 PAC) with 14 kills while sophomore Carlie Roberts (Union City, Pa./Union City) and freshman Katie Skinner (Bay Village, Ohio/Christian Community) each had eight kills. Roberts added three blocks.
Freshman setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) had 36 assists while senior Melissa Lawton (High Point, N.C./Wesley Christian) collected 12 digs.
Grove City hosts defending PAC champion Waynesburg Thursday night at 6:30 p.m.
