Gators sweep Grove City
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 4-4 Tuesday night with a 30-21, 30-25, 30-18 loss to Allegheny (7-3) at the Grove City College Arena.
Sophomore Carlie Roberts (Union City, Pa./Union City) posted 10 kills and five blocks for the Wolverines while sophomore Heather Fraiz (Carmel, Ind./Brebeuf Jesuit) tallied eight kills. Sophomore setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) recorded 26 assists while sophomore Jennifer Plyler (Guys Mills, Pa./Maplewood) had 24 digs.
Grove City will compete in the Westminster Tournament this Friday and Saturday.
