Wolverines rally for 5-game win at Bethany
BETHANY, W. Va. -- After dropping the first two games Thursday night at Bethany, the Grove City College volleyball team rallied for a 25-30, 30-32, 30-14, 30-27, 15-12 victory over the Bison in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match at Hummel Field House.
Junior Carlie Roberts (Union City, Pa./Union City) led the Wolverines (14-12, 4-4 PAC) with 17 kills while sophomore Brittany Anderson (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Chagrin Falls) added 10 kills and four blocks. Sophomore setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) accumulated 57 assists.
Junior Emily Rossol (Waterville, Ohio/Toledo Christian) tallied 29 digs while sophomore Heather Fraiz (Carmel, Ind./Brebeuf Jesuit) had 23 digs. Junior Allison Cummings (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) had a team-high six blocks.
Grove City will host Thomas More Saturday afternoon at 12 noon in a PAC match at the Grove City College Arena.
