Westminster tops Grove City

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 15-14 overall and 5-6 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a 30-22, 28-30, 30-27, 30-25 loss to host Westminster Friday night at Buzz Ridl Gymnasium. Westminster (19-14, 7-4 PAC) clinches the fourth and final berth in next week's PAC Championship Tournament with the victory.

Junior Carlie Roberts (Union City, Pa./Union City) led Grove City with 21 kills and seven blocks while freshman Natalie Liberati (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) added 11 kills and five blocks. Sophomore setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) had 46 assists while junior libero Emily Rossol (Waterville, Ohio/Toledo Christian) recorded 18 digs.

Grove City will conclude the 2005 season Tuesday night at home against Washington and Jefferson.
