Westminster tops Grove City, 3-1

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 11-6 overall and 3-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Thursday night with a 30-22, 28-30, 30-28, 30-17 loss to host Westminster in a PAC match at Buzz Ridl Gymnasium.

Junior Heather Fraiz (Carmel, Ind./Brebeuf Jesuit) led Grove City with 15 kills while sophomore Natalie Liberati (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) added 11 kills. Senior Carlie Roberts (Union City, Pa./Union City) added 10 kills.

Junior setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) recorded 47 assists for the Wolverines. Defensively, senior libero Emily Rossol (Waterville, Ohio/Toledo Christian) paced Grove City with 28 digs. Fraiz added 19 digs while sophomore Meghan Glenn (Clarion, Pa./Clarion) added 13 digs.

Westminster improved to 12-4 overall, 2-1 in the PAC. Grove City will host Penn State Behrend in non-conference action Monday night at 6:30 p.m.
