Grove City earns 4-game win over Bethany

BETHANY, W. Va. -- Four Grove City players recorded at least 14 kills Thursday night as the Wolverines earned a 30-24, 30-22, 26-30, 30-18 win over Bethany in a Presidents' Athletic Conference volleyball match at Hummel Field House. Grove City is now 16-7 overall and 5-2 in the PAC.

Junior Kate Skinner (Bay Village, Ohio/Christian Community) led Grove City with 16 kills while sophomore Natalie Liberati (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) recorded 15 kills. Senior Carlie Roberts (Union City, Pa./Union City) and junior Heather Fraiz (Carmel, Ind./Brebeuf Jesuit) both posted 14 kills in the win.

Junior setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) distributed 57 assists for the Wolverines while Fraiz and senior Emily Rossol (Waterville, Ohio/Toledo Christian) each served three aces.

Rossol led Grove City with 26 digs while Fraiz added 18 digs. Roberts led Grove City with a match-high five blocks.

Grove City will continue PAC action Friday night at Thiel. The match begins at 7 p.m.
