Saint Vincent sweeps Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 17-8 overall Tuesday night with a 30-7, 30-20, 30-19 home loss to visiting Saint Vincent (22-4) in the Grove City College Arena.

Junior Heather Fraiz (Carmel, Ind./Brebeuf Jesuit) and sophomore Natalie Liberati (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) each posted a team-high seven kills for Grove City. Junior setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver), this week's Presidents' Athletic Conference Player of the Week, had 21 assists.

Defensively, junior Brooke Mincey (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) recorded 10 digs. Sophomore Meghan Glenn (Clarion, Pa./Clarion) added nine digs. Liberati tallied two blocks.

Grove City will host Washington & Jefferson Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match. Both Grove City and W&J are 6-2 in the PAC, one-half game behind PAC-leading Westminster.
