Grove City sweeps Chatham

PITTSBURGH -- The Grove City College volleyball team improved to 13-2 overall and 4-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Wednesday night with a 30-13, 30-9, 30-16 sweep of host Chatham in a PAC match at the Chatham Athletic and Fitness Center.

Junior Natalie Liberati (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) paced Grove City's balanced attack with 11 kills while freshman Jodi Barry (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette) added a career-high 10 kills. Senior setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) had 32 assists while defensively, senior Brooke Mincey (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) had 16 digs. Freshman Erika Doane (Sheffield Village, Ohio/Christian Community) recorded a career-high 11 digs.

Senior Brittany Anderson (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Chagrin Falls) posted four blocks. All 15 Grove City players played in the victory.

Grove City will compete in the Franklin & Marshall Scramble Saturday in Lancaster, Pa.
