Grove City falls at Saint Vincent
LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 14-5 overall Tuesday night with a 30-23, 30-28, 30-24 setback at host Saint Vincent College.
Senior Kate Skinner (Avon Lake, Ohio/Christian Community) led Grove City with 13 kills while junior Natalie Liberati (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) contributed nine kills. Senior setter Kim Walsh (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) recorded 30 assists while senior Brooke Mincey (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) served four aces.
Mincey also led the Wolverines with 19 digs while Walsh talllied 15 digs. Senior Jennifer Plyler (Guys Mills, Pa./Maplewood) added 13 digs.
Grove City will visit Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Washington & Jefferson Thursday night at 7 p.m.
