Thomas More tops Grove City
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 3-4 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a 25-8, 25-15, 25-22 setback against visiting Thomas More Friday night in PAC action at the Grove City College Arena.
Junior Inge Rasmussen (Darnestown, Md./Poolesville) and sophomore Anna McCurdy (Guys Mills, Pa./Maplewood) each recorded six kills for Grove City. Sophomore setter Annie Barry (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette) tallied 17 assists.
Barry totaled 14 digs on defense while junior Kim Budd (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) added a dozen digs. McCurdy had three blocks.
Grove City (6-13) will host Roberts Wesleyan Saturday at 10 a.m. The Wolverines will then face Geneva at 2 p.m.
