Wolverines sweep Chatham
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team improved to 4-5 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Saturday with a 25-11, 25-11, 25-12 win over conference foe Chatham in the Grove City College Arena.
Sophomore Anna McCurdy (Guys Mills, Pa./Maplewood) paced the Wolverines with eight kills while junior Inge Rasmussen (Darnestown, Md./Poolesville) added six kills. Rasmussen also served five aces while McCurdy and junior Kim Budd (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) each had two aces. Sophomore Annie Barry (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette) distributed 16 assists.
McCurdy recorded 12 digs while Rasmussen collected 10 digs. Budd chipped in eight digs. Rasmussen also had three blocks while Barry had a pair of blocks.
Eleven players saw action for Grove City (7-16). The Wolverines will host Westminster Tuesday night at 6:30 in PAC action.
