Wolverines fall on road
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team dropped to 4-9 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Tuesday night with a 25-20, 25-16, 25-16 setback against Thiel in PAC action at Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia.
Sophomore Anna McCurdy (Guys Mills, Pa./Maplewood) collected 12 kills for Grove City while junior Inge Rasmussen (Darnestown, Md./Poolesville) added eight kills. Sophomore setter Annie Barry (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette) recorded 24 assists.
Junior Kim Budd (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) led the Wolverines defensively with 17 digs while McCurdy added 15 digs. Rasmussen had 13 digs.
Grove City (7-21) will host Saint Vincent Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Grove City College Arena.
