Grove City drops home finale
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team dropped a 25-15, 25-11, 25-15 decision to visiting Saint Vincent Thursday night in the Wolverines' home finale in the Grove City College Arena.
Junior Inge Rasmussen (Darnestown, Md./Poolesville) paced Grove City with eight kills while junior Jodi Barry (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette) added seven kills. Sophomore setter Annie Barry (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette) distributed 23 assists.
Sophomore Anna McCurdy (Guys Mills, Pa./Maplewood) recorded a dozen digs while Rasmussen added nine digs.
Grove City will wrap up the regular season Saturday with a tri-match at Bethany. The Wolverines (7-22) face La Roche at 1 p.m. before meeting Bethany at 3 p.m. The winner of the Grove City-Bethany match will earn the No. 5 seed in next week's Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament.
