Bethany tops Grove City
BETHANY, W.Va. -- The Grove City College volleyball team dropped a 25-15, 25-14, 25-15 decision to host Bethany (24-3, 11-2) Tuesday night in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Hummel Field House.
Junior Elisabeth Willits (Hatboro, Pa./North Penn) paced Grove City (13-13, 4-10 PAC) with nine kills. Sophomore setter Casey Schmidt (Woodbine, Md./Glenelg) distributed 20 assists.
Defensively, sophomore Tara Skinner (Avon Lake, Ohio/Christian Community) led Grove City with 11 digs and senior Heather Good (Punxsutawney, Pa./Punxsutawney) added 10 digs. Schmidt and Willits each recorded nine digs.
Grove City will visit conference foe Washington & Jefferson Thursday at 7 p.m.
