Grove City falls to Thomas More

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team dropped to 13-11 overall Saturday night with a 23-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-17 setback against visiting Thomas More in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at the Grove City College Arena.

Senior Tierza Rangel (Houghton, N.Y./Fillmore Central) led Grove City (6-7 PAC) with 13 kills while classmate Ashley Branch (Colorado Springs, Colo./Evangelical Christian) added eight kills.

Junior setter Amy Collins (Landenberg, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) recorded 20 assists and sophomore Amy Trageser (Marriottsville, Md./Chapelgate Christian) had eight assists.

Senior Tara Skinner (Avon Lake, Ohio/Christian Community) recorded 19 digs while sophomore Elisabeth Casey (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton North) had 18 digs. Junior Frances Trenta (Hartville, Ohio/Lake) added a dozen digs.

Grove City will visit conference foe Bethany Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The match will be the 1000th at Grove City for head coach Susan Roberts.
