Bethany tops Grove City
BETHANY, W.Va. -- The Grove City College volleyball team fell to 4-5 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Wednesday night by dropping a 25-14, 25-18, 25-16 decision to conference foe Bethany (15-6, 9-1 PAC) at Hummel Field House.
Senior Dalaney Algiere (Grasonville, Md./Kent Island) and junior Stephanie Althausen (Asheville, N.C./Asheville Christian) both posted seven kills for Grove City (11-9 overall). Junior setter Amy Trageser (Marriottsville, Md./Chapelgate Christian) posted 19 assists.
Trageser also led the defense with nine digs. Algiere tallied four blocks.
Grove City will host Thomas More and Washington & Jefferson Saturday in a conference tri-match at the Grove City College Arena. The Thomas More-Grove City match will start at 11 a.m.
