Grove City falls on road
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College volleyball team dropped a 25-18, 28-26, 25-14 verdict at Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Washington & Jefferson Tuesday night in the Henry Memorial Center.
Freshman Jamie Robatisin (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) led Grove City with 10 kills and junior Natalija Galens (Covert, Mich./Grace Christian) added seven kills. Junior setter Amy Trageser (Marriottsville, Md./Chapelgate Christian) recorded 31 assists.
Galens led the Grove City defense with 22 digs and senior libero Frances Trenta (Hartville, Ohio/Lake) added 17 digs. Senior Dalaney Algiere (Grasonville, Md./Kent Island) totaled three blocks.
Grove City (12-13, 5-9) will host conference foe Westminster Saturday at 11 a.m.
