September 22, 1998--The Grove City College women's volleyball team had its six-match winning streak snapped Tuesday night, falling to host Allegheny College in three games, 11-15, 8-15, 12-15.

Lady Wolverine seniors Liz Sparks (Grove City, PA/Grove City) and Emily Bintz (Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) had 15 and 10 kills, respectively.  This week's Presidents' Athletic Conference player of the week, senior Erin Mayne (Elyria, OH/Elyria) recorded 43 assists, while junior Nicole Hable (Shoreview, MN/Totino-Grace) contributed 21 digs.

The Lady Wolverines will try to give 14-year head coach Susan Roberts career victory number 400 Thursday night in a PAC affair at Thiel College.  Roberts, who coached at King College (TN) for two years before coming to GCC, is 399-192 lifetime.
