October 2, 1998--The Grove City College women's volleyball team went 1-1 in first-day action at the Juniata College Tournament.

The Lady Wolverines dropped their opener to Cortland (SUNY), the seventh-ranked team in Division III, 15-13, 11-15, 0-15, 8-15, then rallied to sweep Western Maryland College, 15-10, 15-10, 15-12.

Grove City, 14-5 overall, begins Saturday play at 11:00 a.m.
