Lady Wolverines Win PAC Opener GROVE CITY, PA, September 21, 1999--The Grove City College women's volleyball team defeated visiting Bethany College in three games Tuesday in the Presidents' Athletic Conference opener for both schools. The Lady Wolverines prevailed, 15-8, 15-3, 16-14. Julie Porter (Medina, OH/Highland) led the way with 11 kills and 22 digs, while Heather Hayden (Meadville, PA/Meadville) contributed five blocks. Grove City improved its record to 6-7 overall, 1-0 in the PAC. Bethany fell to 2-11, 0-1 in the PAC. |
