Lady Wolverines Sweep Thiel GREENVILLE, PA, September 23, 1999--The Lady Wolverines posted their second sweep over a conference opponent in three days Thursday, beating host Thiel, 15-12, 15-9, 15-5. Julie Porter (Medina, OH/Highland) recorded a team-high 15 kills, while Heather Oates (Delavan, IL/Delavan) and Abigail Wengerd (Oakmont, PA/Riverview) chipped in with 14 and 12 digs, respectively. Grove City evened its overall mark to 7-7 and improved to 2-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. Thiel fell to 3-7 overall, 0- 2 in the PAC. |
