GCC Bows To Westminster In Four NEW WILMINGTON, PA, October 27, 1999--The Grove City College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision at Westminster College Wednesday, falling 8-15, 14-16, 15-13, 10-15. Julie Porter (Medina, OH/Highland) and Katie Summers (Staunton, VA/Grace Christian) registered a team-high eight kills each for GCC. Sarah Gardner (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg) posted seven kills. Porter added 15 digs, while Cara Denniston (Grove City, PA/Grove City) contributed 28 assists. The Lady Wolverines, now 15-16 overall, open the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament as the number one seed Saturday at 12:00 p.m. |
