Grove City drops first game at B-W
BEREA, OH, November 21, 2000--Baldwin-Wallace (1-0), who won 28 games last year before losing in the "Elite Eight" of the NCAA Division III Tournament, dealt visiting Grove City (2-1) its first loss of the season Tuesday by an 87-49 count.
Four Lady Yellow Jackets scored in double figures led by Holly Koepp, who tallied 19 points and a team-high six rebounds.
Senior guard Kristina Dixon (Smethport,
PA/Smethport) and sophomore guard Kristin Paslowski (Franklin, PA/Franklin)
netted eight points apiece to lead the Lady Wolverines, who were held to 35%
shooting in the game (16-46). Junior guard Kristy Kegg (Johnstown,
PA/Ferndale) grabbed a team-best five boards.
