B-W cruises to win over GCC

GROVE CITY, PA, November 28, 2001--Baldwin-Wallace made 15 of its first 20 shots from the floor on its way to a 69-39 win over the host Grove City Lady Wolverines at the College Arena Wednesday night.

The Yellow Jackets (2-2) stormed to a 33-8 first-half lead and led 33-16 at the intermission.

Cara Denniston (Grove City, PA/Grove City) led the Lady Wolverines with eight points and added four steals while Stephanie Murphy (Munroe Falls, OH/Stow-Munroe Falls) contributed seven points. Jessica Jenkins (Conneautville, PA/Cambridge Springs) led GCC (1-2) with five rebounds.

Baldwin-Wallace out-rebounded the Lady Wolverines, 43-28.

The Yellow Jackets, 27-3 last year, have advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament's "Elite Eight" in each of the past two seasons.
