Four-game streak snapped

BETHANY, W. Va. -- Host Bethany used a 17-0 run early in the second half as a springboard to a 52-46 victory over Grove City in Presidents' Athletic Conference women's basketball action Saturday afternoon at Hummel Field House.

The loss snaps Grove City's four-game win streak.

Grove City held Bethany (17-4, 6-0 PAC) to just 23 percent (13 for 57) shooting for the game but the Bison knocked down 20 of 27 foul shots. Grove City (11-8, 3-3 PAC) went 6-for-10 at the stripe.

Junior guard Abby Moose (New Wilmington, Pa./Mercer) led Grove City with 14 points while Jocelyn Kempema (Fort Atkinson, Wis./Edgewood) added 11 points. Senior forward Misty Wadowsky (Portersville, Pa./Slippery Rock) pulled down 10 rebounds while junior center Sandy O'Keefe (Perry, Ohio/Perry) blocked four shots.

Kelley Richardson led Bethany with 16 points while Katie Hardie added 14. 

Grove City hosts Westminster Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m.
