Wolverines earn 13th victory  

WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's basketball team improved to 13-9 overall and 5-4 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a come-from-behind 55-50 win at PAC rival Waynesburg Wednesday night at Rudy Marisa Field House.

Grove City trailed 26-22 at halftime before storming back in the second half. Junior guard Abby Moose (New Wilmington, Pa./Mercer) fired in all 10 of her points in the second half while freshman guard Lee Anne Lukcic (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) helped Grove City surge ahead with a pair of second-half three-pointers.

Junior guard Jocelyn Kempema (Fort Atkinson, Wis./Edgewood) led Grove City with 12 points and added four steals. Moose had a game-high nine rebounds while Kempema also snared seven rebounds. Grove City out-rebounded Waynesburg (8-13, 0-9 PAC) 40-38.

Grove City also held the Yellow Jackets to just 28 percent (8 of 29) shooting in the second half.

Candice Eyerman led Waynesburg with 15 points.

Grove City will host Washington and Jefferson Saturday at 1 p.m. Both teams are 5-4 in the PAC. The winner will earn the third seed in next week's conference tournament while the loser is the fourth seed.
